Reset/Delete Diagnostic Test

In some instances, a student's diagnostic test may need to be reset or deleted. Once deleted, the data will be completely erased from our system. The data can be exported to an excel file first, before deleting the diagnostic, by clicking "Export Data" and then saving the file, if needed.

Before you follow the steps below to reset/delete the diagnostic test, go to the "Reports" tab and select either "Education Galaxy Reports" or "LiftOff Reports". Explore the 4 reports listed under the DIAGNOSTIC header (as shown below). The data in these reports from the inital diagnostic test will be completely erased from our system once you reset/delete the diagnostic. First run the report and then choose to "Export Data" or "Generate PDF" to save the data to your computer.

To delete a student's diagnostic test go back to the "Reports" tab and select either "Education Galaxy Reports" or "LiftOff Reports"

1. Under the "Student" section, select the "Session Summary" report
2. Filter by class and student from the drop-down menus
3. Under the drop-down menu for assignment type select "Diagnostics"
4. Click on the button "Show Report" 
5. Click on the button "Export Data" to save the information to your computer before you completely erase the data from our system
6. To the right of the diagnostic assignment details, next to the green arrow, click on the "delete" option
